What is Hoadley Hide 2010 ?

This year Hoadley Hide is being held in the Rushworth area - approximately 150 Kms north of Melbourne (2 hours drive).

New for 2010 - Work Up an Appetite

Teams who register by the closing date (22 March) will be eligible to get a steak for dinner on Sunday evening – you don’t have to carry it, keep it fresh or cook it – just eat it. To get your steak just register by the due date and have your team complete 23 stunts over the weekend.

For the ambitious teams – as well as winning a place in history and getting your team name on the shield, the first team to be at the VOC on Sunday night with ALL stunts completes will earn for themselves a kilo of steak each – you will need to have really worked up an appetite to eat it.

The next Site Visit will be, 28th February 2010
Meeting Point is Whroo information centre from 10:30am till 2:00pm

The shortest way there is cross country from Nagambie but it is not well signposted. For those who want to be sure of getting there and stay on bitumen except for the last couple of kilometres, go straight through Nagambie to Murchison, Turn left to Rushworth then left again to Whroo.
About a km after the end of the bitumen at Whroo, turn left into Reedy Lake Rd. About 0.6km on the right is the information centre.
There are good coffee shops at Nagambie Murchison and Rushworth. There is a shop at Whroo but I have not seen it open for a long time – best top up on the way.

For those with GPS it is 36°38'45.80"S, 145° 1'41.08"E

The next Site Visit will be, 28th February 2010 please check this site for further information closer to the date. If you are running a stunt the best way to organise a good site is to attend on one of these inspections so you can pick out the best spot. We will have more information available as it comes to hand. But block out a few hours on each of the days. Remember, site selection is first in, best dressed.

ALL Venturers should read the following pages to get the most enjoyment at Hoadley Hide:
